Abdul Latif Jameel Machinery has introduced a new apprentice course in Riyadh to train Saudi women to operate forklifts, after the company signed formal service provider contracts with several national institutions. The company has allocated an experienced and highly qualified team to train the first batch of trainees about forklift-related procedures. Participants in the training program will learn about the safety requirements and standards required for forklift operators, and will receive a completion certificate from Abdul Latif Jameel Machinery at the end of the course. Abdul Latif Jameel Heavy Equipment, an Abdul Latif Jameel business, today announced plans to build and operate a state-of-the-art facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, designed to provide easy access to customers as well as best-in-class services in the heavy equipment sector.
